Reed, Sue, Franklin and Medusa have been kidnapped by mad scientist Gregory Gideon! But for what purpose? If the Human Torch doesn’t arrive soon, it could be a disastrous ending for Marvel’s First Family!

Gideon still holds the entire FF (plus deputy FF member Medusa) captive, and we learn that his plan is to use the FF's cosmic power to save his own (and his son's) life. However, as things progress, Medusa and Jonny break free. They also free the Dragon Man from Gideon's influence. Finally freed from slavery, the Dragon Man attacks Gideon, and they both dart into a machine, dying. In the epilogue, Sue leaves before Reed wakes up from his coma, stating that she is still not ready to come back to him.
